Alachua County Talks: Amendment One- Florida's Water & Land Conservation Amendment by
This edition of Alachua County Talks features an interview with Pegeen Hanrahan, the Deputy Campaign Manager for Amendment One, Florida’s Water and Land Conservation Amendment. Amendment One was approved by Floridians in November with 75% of voters supporting the initiative. The measure dedicates state funds to acquire and restore Florida conservation and recreation lands.
In speaking of the program Alachua County Talks host Mark Sexton said, “Pegeen Hanrahan was invaluable in helping to secure passage of this important initiative. This interview is timely because the Board of Alachua County Commissioners has made Amendment One its number one priority in the next legislative session.”
